Make the meringue the same day you are going to use it.


  • Large Bowl
  • Electric Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer


  • ¼ cup Cold Water
  •  cup Granulated Sugar
  •  teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Meringue Powder (this is the full container that we sent to the campers)


  • In a large bowl, combine meringue powder, water, vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of the sugar.
  • Whip at high speed for 5 minutes.
  • Gradually add the rest of the sugar and whip at high speed for 5 more minutes until the meringue is stiff and dry.

Put the Meringue that you made in a piping bag without a tip, and close the bag. Do not refrigerate the meringue.
