BAKING ESSENTIALS
When we bake we need the following basic tools:
- Stand mixer or hand mixer
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Glass or silicone measuring cup for liquids
- Sifter, tammy strainer or mesh strainer
- Plastic, glass or stainless steel mixing bowl
- A silicone or plastic spatula
- Parchment paper
- Cookie cutters (included in our box)
- Pans
- Cupcakes/muffins pan
- Cookie sheet for cookies and macarons
- Food illusions cake: any pan 8″ or larger, round or square
- Under the sea cake: 5″ round pan (the cake can not be larger than 5″)
Each recipe has a detailed list of ingredients. This is a general list of all the needed ingredients for the camp recipes.
Baking ingredients:
- All-purpose or Cake flour
- Milk (preferably whole milk)
- Granulated sugar
- Unsalted butter
- Baking powder
- Salt (best is Kosher salt or Crystal salt)
- Large eggs
- Vanilla extract or vanilla imitation
- Almond flour (for macarons)
- Powdered sugar (for macarons)
