Welcome to the baking section of the camp.
For each day of camp you have to have ready the pastry that we will use that day.
We recommend basking in advance, even a week in advance, so you have no surprises.
After you bake you should place your pastries in a sealed container (or wrap them) and put them in the freezer.
First step will be to check the baking essentials section and see what tools and supplies you will need.
Then go ahead and bake using our recipes or your family recipes. The goal is to have your pastries ready for each day.
You will need these pastries for the week:
Monday – 6 cupcakes (can be any flavor, no icing)
Tuesday – Sugar cookies (use the cutters we sent you. Make at least 2 cookies of each design in case they break)
- Food illusions – 7 cookies (Poptart, 2 churros, cereals bowl, ice cream, Starbucks, pretzel)
- Under the sea – 6 cookies (octopus, narwall, frame, jellyfish, shell, starfish)
Wednesday – 6 French Macarons (We sent you macarons in case you don’t feel like making them)
- Food illusions – 2 shaped cakes, 3/4″ – 1″ tall. The shapes can be cut out of an 8″ cake or larger, use the template bellow to cut the cake.
- Under the Sea – 2 cakes, 5″ diameter 2″-2 1/2″ tall. If you do not have the 5″ pans, use the template bellow to cut out the cake.
